We believe that the arts have the power to change lives and create a better world. But around the world, too many people have limited access to the arts especially people with disabilities.
Since 2008, our mission has sought to bring people of all backgrounds –with and without disabilities – together to strengthen community and embrace diversity and differences.
Silent Rhythms was established as a dance program to create accessible dance opportunities for people who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Blind/Low-Vision. Since our founding, our vision has grown to promote the inclusion of marginalized communities to all arts and recreational activities.
With your support, Silent Rhythms has taught more than 5,000 individuals with disabilities alongside those without disabilities. We create an inclusive environment by adapting teaching methods tailored to the inclusion of people with disabilities and for the Deaf/DeafBlind/Hard-of-Hearing communities.
Silent Rhythms partners with schools, universities, museums, organizations, the disability community, and more as we aim to help individuals and communities experience a more inclusive arts experience for all.
